AppId is over the quota
You need to use your surveillance equipment properly if you want to be safe. Part of the process of doing this involves figuring out what is true when it comes to this military equipment and what is false. There are a lot of rumors floating around out there, some of which you have probably heard. You do not want to mistake some of these myths for truths, so the most common ones are broken down below.
1. It Does Not Deter Criminals
The truth is that cameras and other bits of tactical equipment like this do deter criminals. People who were thinking about committing a crime will often not do it simply because they will see that you have the equipment in place. They will want to find an easier target for theft or vandalism.
2. The Picture Is Too Grainy
While the picture may not be in HD, it is not too grainy to be of use. The footage that you get will give you valuable information even when seen at its lowest quality. This is especially true if the criminal happens to look right at the camera - something that many people do instinctively when they notice it.
3. It Will Not Hold Up In Court
This myth probably comes from the use of illegal cameras or cameras that were not marked. In some situations, you will have to alert people to the fact that they are on camera. There is a chance that footage that was not obtained by legal means could be thrown out of court, but this will not happen if yo abide by the laws.
4. No One Has Ever Been Caught Strictly From This Footage
This footage is often shown to other people who were in the area. Even if the police cannot tell who the criminal is, this can help them to find someone who can. The investigation can be broken open from there.
5. You Can Be Sued For Using It
Again, this probably comes from the use of illegal cameras. There are some places where these are not allowed. Changing rooms in department stores, for instance, cannot have cameras because of privacy issues. If you install your equipment in a place that is illegal, you could be sued, but you will not be if you follow the law.
When you are setting up and using your surveillance equipment, keep all of these things in mind. You want to be safe. You are already committed to this safety, as is evidenced by your decision to get this equipment at all. Do not fall prey to the myths that people tell. Do not let these things keep you from being as safe as you possibly can.
